"Not So Bad (Leans Gone Cold)" sees them fuse forlorn keys and insistent hi-hats with a wickedly materialistic interpolation of Dido's "Thank You," a goofy twist that will make you laugh while repeating the chorus. On "Sexy," they reimagine a Miami bass song with eclectic wordplay and playful confidence. For the project, Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi swerve between tempos, textures, cadences, and hook structures that imbue familiar themes with splashes of originality, tackling new sonic territories while they're at it.
